Richard Soon

Richard is a highly experienced manufacturing and operations leader with four and a half decades of progressive experience in machining, manufacturing engineering and plant operations across the oilfield services and industrial sectors.

He is responsible for leading all manufacturing operations at OMS Singapore, driving safety, quality, compliance and business objectives. Besides this, Richard is also responsible in providing managerial direction to meet customer requirements in terms of quality, cost and on-time delivery whilst maintaining all ISO and API certification standards.

His extensive background encompasses CNC machining and tooling engineering, manufacturing management and process optimization, plant leadership across multiple locations, API 6A certification and quality assurance systems implementation, cost control and capital project management, building and leading high-performing manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence in complex, highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Richard is recognised for his technical rigour, operational discipline and commitment to safety and quality excellence in all operations.
