Mr. How Meng Hock is the Executive Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OMS Energy Technologies Inc., where he leads a 650+ person organization spanning 11 operational locations across 6 countries.
With over three decades of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas, drilling and production, Mr. How has built a distinguished career spanning operations, manufacturing, supply chain, project execution and commercial leadership across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Mr. How commenced his career with Vetco Gray (subsequently GE Oil & Gas), where he spent 21 years in increasingly senior roles, before joining Cameron International and Sumitomo Corporation as Corporate Officer.
Appointed CEO of OMS in April 2014, he has transformed the company into an integrated oilfield services organization, establishing an expanding footprint of customers and service capabilities across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
Under Mr. How’s leadership, OMS achieved two transformational milestones. In June 2023, he successfully navigated the company through a management buy-out from Sumitomo, demonstrating entrepreneurial vision and strategic conviction. Building on this achievement, OMS listed on NASDAQ in May 2025 (ticker: OMSE), becoming one of only a select number of Singapore-headquartered companies trading on the said exchange. This landmark milestone underscores the company’s operational strength, market position and trajectory for sustained growth.
Mr. How holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of London.
